BABALU

16.8m/55.1ft luxury sailing catamaran from Bali 5.4 was launched in 2019 and constructed with a GRP hull and superstructure. The contemporary styling is light and clean for a greater sense of volume and stronger connection to the surrounding environment. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests over six en-suite cabins with a crew of two for discreet service.

EXTERIOR

The interior salon opens up to the main deck aft cockpit, which is furnished with a sofa along the stern. Steps lead down both hull for easy access to the water, and on the foredeck another sofa is placed in front of the helm station controls as well as two trampolines for sunbathing.

Above, the flybridge layout places the helm station controls forward to starboard with a seating area and alfresco dining table behind. Forward to port there is a corner sofa with additional seating behind.

INTERIOR

The hulls contain the guest and crew accommodation, leaving the central space free as a dedicated social space.

The helm station is placed forward with the galley immediately behind. The aft interior places a raised dining table and sofa to port and to starboard there is an additional sofa where guests can rest and take in the views through the large windows on either side.

In light wind conditions the pair of 80 HP Yanmar engines produce a top speed and cruising speed of 10 knots.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests over 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite and 5 double cabins.
Both the port and starboard hulls contain the guest accommodation, with a crew cabin in the bow. The symmetrical layout furnishes the forward guest cabins with a queen-sized bed, wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom. The amidships guest cabins use the same layout, while the aft cabins have a sofa and a staircase up to the aft cockpit. All en-suite bathrooms have a shower, toilet and sink.
The crew of two will provide expert service to everyone on board.
