What to see and do on your Ithaca holiday:
Home to Odysseus in Greek mythology, Ithaca has stunning natural scenery consisting of pale rocky outcrops, verdant forests and hidden lagoons; sea temperatures rise in the summer months for an enjoyable saltwater bath.

For groups looking to combine hiking and history, Homer’s School is located along an in-land trail near Exogi and visitors are rewarded with stunning views out over Afales Bay.
Dexa beach and Mnimata beach are conveniently close to the marina at Vathy, the largest settlement on the island. Instead, guests can visit the pale blue waters at Gedaki Beach to the north for family fun with the water toys in a sheltered and shallow bay.
Scuba diving is a popular activity while on holiday in Greece, and superyacht charters with Scuba equipment on board have the freedom to investigate the area’s dive sites, which include fulfilling beginner’s dives among sea horses and turtles, to cave dives and wreck dives for the more experienced. Snorkelers also won’t need to look far to uncover vibrant starfish and schools of fish that would make a tasty lunch on the sundeck barbeque.
If the charter group ever wants to move on from discovering one exquisite beach after another, Kefalonia and Lefkada are only a short cruise away and provide a more upbeat nightlife for guests looking to party long after dark.

In classical mythology Ithaca is the home of Odysseus, and this fantastical island is thronged with luscious beaches that set the scene for a romantic luxury charter or as a place to bring young family members to enjoy transparent shallow waters. Gedaki Beach is a prime example of the pale white sands that draw visitors to this peaceful and quiet island west of Kefalonia, and there is plenty of opportunity for adults and children to learn how to use all the water toys. The Acropolis of Alalkomenes and Agios Dionisios Church showcase Ithaca's past and present, completing a rewarding visit to the island.
