7 day charter itinerary Visiting: Mediterranean, France, Italy, French Riviera, Cote d'Azure, Monaco, Nice, Ville Franche, Cap Ferrat, San Remo, Portofino, Splendido Hotel, Portovenere, Cinque Terra, Portovenere, Palmaria, Blue Grotto, Fort di Marmi, Pisa, Fort di Marmi, Santa Maria, Elba, Versilia, Corsica, Tuscany, and Calvi.

DAY ONE
Begin you French Riviera (Cote d'Azure) & Italy luxury yacht charter by flying into Nice and transfering to your charter yacht in Monaco. We can arrange an airport transfer or you may wish to enjoy a helicopter flight down the coast. This takes only 7 minutes and costs around EUR 80 per person. It offers wonderful views of the Cote D’Azur and is quick and easy. After boarding, enjoy a welcome drink and settle in before heading of for San Remo. Quiet and quaint San Remo is known for its weekend markets and it traditional Italian flair.

DAY TWO
Cruising onwards to Portofino – which was once a small historic fishing village; now one of the most famous and picturesque ports on a Mediterranean yacht charter. This charming port is framed by rolling hills covered in olive groves. Take a walk through the boutique portside shops or through the olive groves for a wonderful view of the Cinque Terra coastline. Portofino is a quaint and colorful town. Enjoy a night out at the famous Splendido Hotel Restaurant which offers magnificent views down the coast.

DAY THREE
Today you will continue along Cinque Terra to the village of Portovenere, just north of La Spezia. Portovenere is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may also like to visit Palmaria one of the three islands located just off the coast of Portovenere. Palmaria is the largest island and has nice beaches. The highlight of the island is the Blue Grotto, accessible only from the sea.

DAY FOUR (Possible port for change of guests. Nearby airport is Pisa)
Continue south to charming Fort di Marmi which is located along the northern Tuscany coast between the Marinas of Ronci and Pietrasanta, in an area known as Versilia. Forte dei Marmi is known for its clean, sandy beaches. Santa Maria Beach was voted one of the world’s top ten beaches in 2006.

DAY FIVE
On to Elba and to the gorgeous port of Porto Ferreira. The port is lined with beautiful little seaside restaurants and lots of shopping a boutiques close by. Approximately 10km from the Italian mainland, Elba is one of the greenest and most beautiful islands in The Med. Wide sandy beaches and romantic bays offer excellent windsurfing, swimming and diving. Famous for being Napoleon’s place of exile in 1814, Elba has many monuments and museums dedicated to his memory. You may also want to try some Aleatico or Moscato, Elban wines which are two of Tuscany's best!

DAY SIX
After breakfast, cross to Corsica and follow the Northern Cape around to St Florent. St Florent is a quaint seaside town set below a backdrop of tall black mountains. This quaint village has a good beach, plenty of local restaurants and a great marina.  Cruising 75NM – 2.5 hours

DAY SEVEN
Continue sailing onto Calvi, which has been called the Corsican port most like the French Riviera. The centre is sunny, with palm trees and quaint shops. On the south side is a long crescent of sandy beach which offers water sports, swimming, and beautiful views back toward the town and Citadel. Jet-setters have long been attracted to Calvi, among them: the Duchess of Windsor, the honey-mooning Grace and Rainier, Taylor and Burton, Rod Stewart, Valentino, Sylvester Stallone, and Bruce Willis.

DAY EIGHT
Leisurely awake and prepare to disembark your charter yacht at midday in Calvi.
