A 14-day private yacht charter itinerary visiting amazing locations of the French Riviera and Italy.

DAY ONE:

Board at midday in Cannes and enjoy lunch at anchor off the Iles de Lerins. Spend the afternoon winding down after your flight – relaxing, swimming or playing on the water toys. Head back into the port of Cannes this evening. Stay onboard and enjoy a delicious meal prepared by your chef of perhaps head out for a sophisticated meal at Vill des Lys.

DAY TWO:

Depart after breakfast for St Tropez. Spend the day on famous Pampelonne Beach or enjoy one of the chic beach clubs such as Club 55. St Tropez offers a myriads of cobbled streets, boutique shops and fashionable cafes & restaurants. Watch the lights and action from the safety of the Bay or head out and dance the night away at the Hotel Byblos.

DAY THREE:

Cruise to the Isle de Porquerolles – the islands off Hyeres. Anchor off a quiet, sandy beach for lunch and a snorkel before continuing on to tiny Port Cros in the midst of a nature reserve. This is a beautiful and uniquely protected part of the coast, also known as the South Pacific of the Mediterranean. Dine ashore in one of the fantastic quaint quayside fish restaurants or alfresco onboard.

DAY FOUR:

Spend the morning exploring Port Cros by foot or bicycle (no cars are allowed on the island). Enjoy lunch in the peaceful anchor before heading back up the coast to the port of Coghlin, across the bay from St Tropez.

DAY FIVE:

Take a short cruise back up the coast to Cap d’Antibes where you may wish to enjoy lunch at Hotel du Cap’s Eden Rock Restaurant. Head into the port of Antibes for the evening and enjoy the combination of old and cobbled streets merged with modern shops, restaurants and bars. Do a little shopping or visit the Picasso Museum.

DAY SIX:

Depart this morning for a very short cruise to Villefranche, the largest natural harbour on the Coast. Villefranche has a quaint and picturesque old town and is a wonderful place to anchor for lunch. Refresh after lunch with a swim before continuing onto Monaco.

DAY SEVEN:

After breakfast, set off for the Italian town of San Remo. Quiet and quaint San Remo is known for its weekend markets and it traditional Italian flair.

DAY EIGHT:

Onto Portofino - once a small historic fishing village; now one of the most famous and picturesque ports in the Mediterranean. This charming port is framed by rolling hills covered in olive groves. Take a walk through the boutique portside shops or through the olive groves for a wonderful view of the Cinque Terra coastline. Portofino is a quaint and colorful town. Enjoy a night out at the famous Splendido Hotel Restaurant which offers magnificent views down the coast.

DAY NINE:

Today you will continue along Cinque Terra to the village of Portovenere, just north of La Spezia. Portovenere is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may also like to visit Palmaria one of the three islands located just off the coast of Portovenere. Palmaria is the largest island and has nice beaches. The highlight of the island is the Blue Grotto, accessible only from the sea.

DAY TEN & ELEVEN:

On to Elba today to the stunning port of Porto Ferreira. The port is lined with beautiful little seaside restaurants and lots of shopping a boutiques close by. Approximately 10km from the Italian mainland, Elba is one of the greenest and most beautiful islands in The Med. Wide sandy beaches and romantic bays offer excellent windsurfing, swimming and diving. Famous for being Napoleon’s place of exile in 1814, Elba has many monuments and museums dedicated to his memory. You may also want to try some Aleatico or Moscato, Elban wines which are two of Tuscany's best!

DAY TWELVE:

We then start heading north again to Fort di Marmi which is located along the northern Tuscany coast between the Marinas of Ronci and Pietrasanta, in an area known as Versilia. Forte dei Marmi is known for its clean, sandy beaches. Santa Maria Beach was voted one of the world’s top ten beaches in 2006.

DAY THIRTHEEN:

Cinque Terra translates as ‘5 lands’ and these are 5 seaside villages connected by a track which weaves around the cliffsides. Santa Magherita is less effected than famous Portofino and wonderfully relaxing with palm fronds lining the esplanade.

DAY FOURTEEN:

Fontvieille is another port of Monaco however far prettier than the main port. The yachts are dwarfed by the colorfully lit majestic cliff, home to the Palace of Monaco. Fontvieille has quite a variety of Italian restaurants and bars. Try the popular Beef Bar, La Salere or the Columbus Hotel.

DAY FIFTEEN:

Leisurely awake and prepare to disembark at midday. You can take a chopper from just beside the port to Nice airport.
