The Cinque Terre is a well know yachting destination along Italy’s northern Mediterranean coast. It is a mountainous and craggy stretch of the Italian Riviera coastline with beautiful old towns, many of which have been designated as UNESCO World Heritage sites. The Cinque Terre means 'The Five Lands' in Italian and it is made up of five picturesque villages - Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore - and their surrounding hills and coast - Cinque Terre National Park.
Portofino Yacht Charter
The small historic fishing village of Portofino is especially picturesque and charming and is one of the classic luxury yacht charter destinations and one of the most photographed on the Italian Riviera. Portofino is certainly a recommended destination for any yacht charter in Italy. San Fruttuoso is also just on the other side of the headland. The attractive fishing village of Camogli and the neighbouring port of Santa Margherita Ligure are recognized for their excellent restaurants and cuisine. 
Some Other Spots to see
Another small fishing village called Camogli is just a few minutes past Genoa and towards Portofino. Also Portovenere is perched on a steep ocean cliff and just past Camogli is the little town of San Rocco. In these spots there are some astonishing views along the Italian Riviera and right back toward Monaco and France.
Elba Yacht Charter
The Tuscan island of Elba has a coastline which reveals a number of small inlets and nice little yacht anchorages, many with nice beaches. This Italian Island is good for both cultural and natural recreational activities like diving, hiking, and swimming.
