Sailing yacht CALDERA (previously “Cathleen”) is a 30,00m (98′ 5″) sloop built in 1989 by Ankon Marine with naval architecture by Rob Ladd. Yacht CALDERA has received several refit and is able to accommodate up to 8 guests in four spacious staterooms. S/Y CALDERA is based in Greece and the Eastern Med during the summer and in the Caribbean during the winter.

CALDERA was designed with style and flair for comfortable sailing performance and roomy relaxation. She has an experienced crew of four that provide the highest level of personal service.

Sailing yacht CALDERA is a bright and airy and spacious yacht that is ideal for 8 charter guests. Her large Main Saloon includes several conversational areas, formal dining and entertainment center. Sailing yacht CALDERA has tall headroom and air conditioning throughout.

Sailing yacht CALDERA is able to accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 spacious ensuite staterooms. Her Master Stateroom features a King size bed, bath, shower and sauna. There are two staterooms with Queen size beds and one stateroom with single upper and double lower beds. All cabins have ensuite facilities.

Luxury yacht CALDERA’s main social area is the expansive covered cockpit which provides an enormous protected area for entertainment, relaxation, conversation and dining for eight guests. An additional dining area aft, which also comfortably seats eight, is the ideal spot to enjoy sunset appetizers and alfresco dining or an early morning breakfast. The clean, broad sweep of the forward deck is another great space for entertaining and relaxing and features cushions for sunbathing.

Caldera received an extensive refit in 2005 and 2007, with new interior linens and exterior cushions, paint, and sails. Mechanicals, Audio Video equipment, dvds, and iPod docking stations were upgraded in all cabins. Caldera also had her teak decks replaced in winter 2009.

Ankon Marine sailing yacht CALDERA has the following extras and amenities onboard: Tenders and Toys include a 16' Zodiac tender with 50 hp Outboard, Water skis, Kneeboard, Wakeboard, Snorkelling gear, Fishing gear, Kayak, a 12' Crew Tender with 15hp engine. A Windsurfer may be available upon request by charterers. The yacht has full awnings. Communications include SSB, VHF, Sat Com M, GPS, Radars, Autopilot, Cell phone, Fax. Audio Visual Equipment and Deck Facilities include a Flat screen TV and DVD player in all cabins, salon, and pilot house; CD player and stereo in every cabin; Video and CD library; Games and books.
