Motor yacht JOY was built by the Italian shipyard Filippetti Yachts in 2008 and refitted in 2021. With a length of 24.00m (78′ 9″) she can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 ensuite cabins, with additional accommodation for her professional crew of 3 on board.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft offers a comfortable sofa along the stern and a raised table surrounded by movable chairs for alfresco dining and outdoor living sheltered by the flybridge overhang. Starboard stairs connect to the lower deck swim platform and lead up to the flybridge. Side walkways lea around to the foredeck, which is furnished with a C-shaped sofa and raised table ideal for watching the sunset over drinks.

The flybridge is furnished with the helm controls forward to starboard with a sunbed opposite, and a C-shaped sofa with al fresco dining table immediately behind. The tender is stored along the stern with a Davit crane for its safe launch and retrieval.

INTERIOR

The lower deck layout hosts the guest and crew accommodation along with the engine room and storage for the water toys. On the main deck, the helm controls are placed to starboards with the stairway down to the guest accommodation centre and additional seating to port. Immediately behind is the formal dining area to seat six, and the galley opposite. The aft lounge places an L-shaped sofa to along the starboard wall with a coffee table a corner drinks cabinet to complete the setting. A widescreen TV is the opposite, ideal for passing the time between destinations or unwinding after a busy and tiring day.

A pair of MAN engines each producing 1,550 HP gives a top speed of 30 knots and a fast cruising speed of 20 knots.

While up to 15 guests can remain on board while cruising, the overnight accommodation provides for 8 guests across 4 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom and 2 twin cabins.
~ The Master suite is amidships on the lower deck to make use of the full beam, and within there is a queen-sized bed, desk/vanity, widescreen TV, plenty of wardrobe space and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower.
~ The VIP stateroom is situated in the bow and has a double bed, widescreen TV, ample storage and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, bidet and shower.
~ The Twin cabins are situated between the Master suite and VIP stateroom to port and starboard respectively. Both have two single beds, a widescreen TV, ample storage and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower.
~ The expert crew of 3 will ensure that everything runs smoothly throughout the cruise.
