TABOO OF THE SEAS

Built by Maiora and launched in 2019, luxury yacht TABOO OF THE SEAS is the first hull in the MAIORA 30 WALKAROUND model. She measures 30.5m/100ft and has a shallow draft of 1.7m/5.6ft, with spacious modern interiors created by Fossati Design Bureau of Turin.

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 9 guests over 4 en-suite staterooms, with a professional crew of 6 for a memorable holiday wherever guests travel.

EXTERIOR

Guests have access to the main deck via a staircase form the lower deck, and the former also has a plush sofa and raised table for the group to enjoy an alfresco meal in the shade. Side passageways join around the foredeck which in turn connect to the sundeck, ensuring that there are no stairways, hatches or openings to interrupt the space.

The foredeck provides guests with a spacious sunbathing area that can be partially shaded by erecting a canvas over the area.

The 110m²/1184ft² sundeck is dedicated to guest usage and has a sunbathing area and hot tub to the aft, plus a lounge and alfresco dining area and bar amidships with more sunbathing space forward.

INTERIOR

The lower deck layout hosts the guest and crew accommodation along with a laundry, mess and display for CCTV control monitoring system.

From the lower deck the crew has direct access to the galley on the main deck, while guests have their own private stairway. The galley is well equipped and comes with large refrigerators for stocking up on long cruises, an ice maker, numerous appliances and a generous wine cellar. From the galley crew can reach the wheelhouse without disturbing the guests.

The main salon offers a bright and spacious environment that has floor-to-ceiling windows and a generous ceiling height of 2.1m/6.8ft. The design has been described as ‘contemporary truths and classic wisdom’ and is furnished in tinted oak, white leather and brass accents that further emphasise the sense of space on board. The forward formal dining area seats up to 10, while behind the salon makes a comfortable place to unwind after a meal and comes with large sofas, a chaise-lounger and a coffee table.

Fossati Design Bureau of Turin, who chose white leather and matte brass inlays contrast against the tinted oak for an elegant environment for daytime relaxation and entertainment after sundown.

A pair of Caterpillar C32 Acert engines of 1,925 HP allow for a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The accommodation sleeps up to 9 guests across 4 en-suite staterooms: 1 main deck Master suite, 1 lower deck Master suite, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin convertible to a double. The main deck Master suite has a sofa convertible to a bed to sleep an extra two guests, while the twin cabin has a Pullman berth.
The crew of 6 will take care of every detail on board.
