The First 47.7 follows the footsteps of the highly successful First 40.7 with interior styling of the exemplary First 45f5, but also adds many new and advanced features. She is designed by Farr Yacht Design®, Ltd., is impeccable in detail and elegant in design. Whether she is raced equipped to go offshore or around the buoys, the First 47.7 will show a ‘clean pair of heals’ and her transom to the competition.

The 47.7 is designed by the famous Bruce Farr who has created an easily driven, slippery hull and crowned it with a powerful rig and sail plan. Farr designed this yacht without regard to handicap rules and has used his great abilities to create an excellent hull, both in terms of seaworthiness and performance. The hull has a fine entry and yet a comfortably wide transom for racing space and cruising comfort. Beneteau has already sold more than 500 of First 47.7s and they are performing well the world over.
