GEMS (ex Momentum)

Luxury yacht GEMS (ex.MOMENTUM) from Nedship is a Leight Notika model built in 2005 and last refitted in 2012. Her modern exterior styling and interior were all produced by the shipyard, with an emphasis on guest comfort as well as style. The pale and brightly lit interiors are finished in light mahogany panelling, cream leather deck heads, matching carpets and luxury fabrics. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of nine charter guests over four en-suite cabins, with a crew of five to offer stellar service throughout the cruise.

EXTERIOR

From the lower deck swim platform guests have access to the main deck aft, where there is a sofa integrated into the stern and movable chairs placed around an elevated table. A stairways to starboard connects up to the flybridge, and side walkways lead around to the foredeck, where there is a curving loveseat for guests to sit and take in the views, or rest on the broad sunbed in front of the pilothouse.

The flybridge stores the jet skis along the stern with a Davit crane for safe launch and retrieval. Sun loungers are placed in a row immediately in front and the amidships section has been left clear for the group to use for outdoor exercise. A Jacuzzi can be found to starboard with the three-seater wet bar forward and a C-shaped sofa around a raised alfresco dining table opposite. The helm controls are forward to starboard and there are four plush seats where guests can rest with their drinks and take in the forward views.

INTERIOR

The lower deck hosts the guest and crew accommodation, with room for storing the water toys. On the main deck, the pilothouse is forward with the well-equipped galley behind.
The formal dining area and salon are combined into one large space, with the former section seating all nine guests in light and modern surroundings.

A day bed aft to port of the formal dining area signals the start of the lounge, with a widescreen TV on the wall opposite and a large sofa and armchair around a coffee table makes an inviting social spot, with the three-seater bar aft to starboard creating and an array of cocktails and soft drinks.

A pair of MTU 16V 2000 engines produces a top speed of 25 knots and a fast cruising speed of 21 knots.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 9 charter guests over 4 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin with a Pullman berth.
~ The Master suite treats its occupants to a king-sized bed, a desk and sofa and TV and audio entertainment. The Master en-suite bathroom boasts two sinks, a toilet and a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
~ The VIP stateroom on the lower deck has a queen-sized bed with a desk, sofa, plenty of storage, TV entertainment and an en-suite bathroom containing a toilet, sink and shower.
~ The double cabin on the lower deck has a desk, storage, TV and audio entertainment, and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet, sink and shower.
~ The twin cabin on the lower deck to port is generous in size and has an additional Pullman berth. Within, there is a large window, plenty of storage, TV entertainment and an en-suite bathroom providing a toilet, sink and shower.
~ The fantastic crew of 5 will take care of every detail while guests relax on board.
