Pittwater & Hawkesbury Yacht Charter

Pittwater & Hawkesbury yacht charter has been popular amongst local Australian, especially those from Sydney, for some time. This is motor boat charter country. The Pittwater/Hawkesbury waterways are lovely tree covered deep-water cruising ground just north of Sydney. There are three national parks to explore and therefore huge areas that have been left in their natural state, without human development. The Pittwater arm includes many beaches and the renowned Scotland Island. The Hawkesbury River winds over 50 miles inland through spectacular sandstone cliffs, small towns, uninhabited Islands and woods. Cowan Water has a collection of coves and moorings and lies to the west of the Hawkesbury River.

Newport, the first town on the Pittwater Peninsula, is around 40 kilometres north of Sydney's international airport which has incoming direct flights from most parts of the world. If you are arriving at Sydney's international airport, there are four ways to get to the Northern Beaches; shuttle bus, municipal bus, taxi, or rental car. The best season is probably summer, (October - May) although there is good cruising all year round.
