Ekincik Yacht Charter

Ekincik is an extremely pretty destination for yacht charterers. It lies between Marmaris and Dalyan on the Turkish Riviera and is known as “Earth’s Paradise”. The pine-covered bay, Kurkculer, is carpeted in stunning forests with a beach running right along the coast.

There’s no nightlife here but it’s a place to relax and chill out for a few days while exploring the fascinating areas nearby.

Take a look at the ancient ruins of Kaunos when sailing around the waters of Ekincik. These ruins date back to 400 BC while a UNESCO World Heritage Site can be found west of Dalyan. This city was apparently founded by the grandson of Apollo, King Kaunos, and became a harbour for trading boats. Today, a well-preserved amphitheatre still stands and parts of the acropolis can be seen right on top of a hill along with a Roman bath and an ancient church. Step back in time on this visit while taking in some of the most spectacular scenery in Turkey.

Another gem here is Sultaniye Kaplicalari, the Sultaniye Thermal Waters. These thermal waters are about 12km from Ekincik and said to have healing properties. Visitors are able to relax in mud baths in the sun before washing the mud off in the waters of the sulphur pools. For the more energetic guests, there’s rafting on the Dalaman River, or guests can play on the motorised water toys in the beautiful turquoise waters of your charter grounds.
