Sailing Yacht SOUTHERN CLOUD was designed and built to serve those people who love sailing. A three-masted Bermuda-rigged schooner, the strong and powerful rig was designed for extensive cruising in all waters around the world.

Now at home in Australia, after a major refit, SOUTHERN CLOUD is available for you to charter and explore the magical cruising grounds sheltered by one of the Wonders of the World – the magical Great Barrier Reef. In the prime season August – November, she graces the waters of Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands and is ideal for families or groups of friends to enjoy special times together

SOUTHERN CLOUD allows guests the independence to be as relaxed or as adventurous as you wish ~ either quietly enjoying the relaxing deck spaces or participating in the yachts activities and water sports, or exploring ashore. The centre seated cockpit draws everybody together again ~ it’s a magnetic gathering place for relaxing conversation; enjoying sun-soaked cocktails and for dining under the stars.

Having recently completed a major refit, she sports a new modern and simplistic interior. She can accommodate up to 12 guests in 7-cabins: 1 king master; 2 queens; 2 queens that can convert to twins; and 2 single cabins … that’s 1 king, 4 queens, 2 singles if desired /or 1 king, 2 queens and 6 singles

She is a magnificent yacht for those who love to cruise in comfort and enjoy soft adventure.
