HQ2

Launched in 2013, sailing yacht HQ2 is a beautiful and luxurious, yet functional Open Ocean 750 catamaran, built by the South African shipyard, Two Oceans Marine. Representing the perfect luxury sailing home, the lovely HQ2 yacht is penned by Du Toit Yacht Design.

Ideal as the on-the-water holiday home for a family of five, Open Ocean 750 yacht HQ2 offers luxurious, comfortable and versatile accommodation in the owners’ suite aft, and a guest suite forward, both with lovely en-suite spacious heads and showers. One crew cabin for a professional crew of 2 can be found forward of that. The starboard hull has another guest suite aft and the children’s cabins forward of that, with an upper and lower single berth and further forward is a v-berth that can be converted to a double. Both the guest and children’s cabins have en-suite heads and showers, and there is also a day head for guests.

HQ² yacht boasts a spacious saloon and galley, fitted with the B&O full sound system, 32 inch TV and DVD player in the saloon, with two Vitrifrigo fridges and freezer and Miele appliances such as; an ice-maker, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and a Smeg gas oven in the galley area.

The Open Ocean 750 Sailing Catamaran HQ2 offers a wide range of water toys and tenders, including a six metre Gemini Waverider 600 tender, as well as a smaller tender on the foredeck. There are also plenty of lockers and storage space for dive gear, ropes and other toys.

HQ2 yacht features a beam overall of 10,55m (34’61”) and a draft of 1,6m (5’25”).
