Motor yacht SQUALO (ex AKULA) is a 26.76m (87′ 10″) crewed luxury charter yacht built by the Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo with naval architecture and design by Officina Italiana Design. Accommodation on board spreads over 4 en-suite cabins for up to 8 charter guests in total, with a crew of 4 ensuring impeccable services are being offered at all times.

EXTERIOR

The lower deck swim platform connects up to the main deck aft, where there is a sofa lining the stern and a table for alfresco dining sheltered by the flybridge overhang.

On the foredeck, a C-shaped sofa with a drinks table creates a tranquil place for guests to converse and watch the sunset. The table can be covered to turn the sofa into sunpads, and a bimini shade ensures that guests can spend hours outdoors in comfort. 

Above, the flybridge is accessed via an internal staircase and places sunbeds along the aft, a bar to starboard with a C-shaped sofa and table forward. Opposite there is a casual lounge setting of armchairs and a side table, and a retractable roof in the hardtop allows sunshine or shade as desired.

INTERIOR

The beautiful light-filled interiors make use of pale wood and white furnishings to emphasise the space and light within each room. Numerous spotlights on the ceiling ensure that guests have plenty of light to continue the social occasion long into the night.

The lower deck hosts the crew accommodation forward with the guest accommodation amidships, followed by the engine room and the tender garage in the stern.

On the main deck, the helm controls and galley are placed forward, separated from the guest social areas for greater privacy and tranquillity. The lounge places the formal dining area forward and seats up to eight guests around a square table, with large windows on both sides allowing for an abundance of natural light. Behind, there is a C-shaped sofa and coffee table, opposite of which is a widescreen TV on top of the cabinetry.

Twin MTU 12V200 M96L engines produce a top speed of 30 knots, a cruising speed of 11 knots and a range of 735 nautical miles.
