At 32m/105 ft BELLA VITA ( ex NECKER BELLE) is one of the world’s few very large luxury sailing catamarans. On top of this she won the 2010 best new refit at the World Superyacht Awards and received another refit in 2018, so she is looking fantastic. Sailing yacht BELLA VITA is a cutting-edge carbon fibre catamaran which means she is light for sailing or motoring at high speeds. In addition to an impressive 14 knots under power, she is also capable of speeds in excess of 20 knots under sail – which is very rare indeed! BELLA VITA offers generous accommodation for 10-12 guests, comprising of a master suite, a double cabin and two twin cabins, all with en-suite shower rooms, flat screen TV and iPod docking stations, all 4 guest cabins are fully air-conditioned. In the evening an area of the main saloon can be converted to sleep an additional two people, with a privacy screen, separate toilet and shower. At the 5th edition of the prestigious World Superyacht Awards recognizing the most outstanding superyachts delivered in 2009, the Necker Belle yacht was commended for its refit. The Awards were held on Saturday 22nd May at London’s Guildhall.

The Necker Belle superyacht underwent a refit by the Azzura Shipyard in Australia, which transformed her from the mundane into a special luxury catamaran. This very comprehensive refit addressed structural issues and, among many improvements too numerous to mention individually, strengthened the vessel, upgraded her steering to a new hydraulic system and repositioned the helm stations, re-rigged her with a carbon mast of 38m high and re-engineered the structure of the mast base. Sailing Cat NECKER BELLE has a Range – 1,500 nautical miles under cruising speed and a tonnage of 171 tons.

At the same time, the superyacht’s interior was treated to a totally new electrical system and wiring, a complete overhaul of the engine room, and a completely new scheme of interior decoration in which all surface materials were replaced or refurbished to provide a relaxed beach house atmosphere. Thanks to this thorough refit, which addressed the many issues affecting the original catamaran, this attractive yacht now has a new lease of life.

If all the activities on BELLA VITA weren’t enough to keep you busy, a new world-first – a 3-person aero submarine called Necker Nymph is also available. This underwater ‘aircraft’ has been designed especially for Virgin Limited Edition and takes exploration under the sea to a whole new level – or should that be depth?! Discover some stunning parts of the British Virgin Islands you might not get to see any other way! Two passengers sit either side of a trained pilot who will take the submarine down to as deep as 30 metres below the surface. Once you’ve buckled up you’ll have front row views of some spectacular marine life without having to swim around with all the usual scuba gear. Necker Nymph can travel at speeds of up to 6 knots underwater, and dives typically last between one and two hours.
