Avalon

Luxury sailing catamaran Avalon is a brand new Lagoon 620, launched for the winter of 2010. Crewed charter catamaran Avalon can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 comfortable double cabins and will be available for charter in the Virgin Islands and the Leeward Islands of the Caribbean over the winter months and further down island in the Grenadines during the summer months.

Luxury crewed catamaran Avalon has a modern and spacious open plan interior consisting of light Oak Alpi and Wenge woodwork with white leather sofas and huge windows allowing plenty of natural light, a great sense of space and 360 degree views. Avalon can sleep up to 8 guests in four double cabins. All guest cabins have an ensuite bathroom with separate shower. The master cabin is accessible from the cockpit and from the saloon.

One of the nicest features of the new Lagoon 62 is the amount of outdoor space and different areas this yacht offers guests. Avalon has a huge amount of outdoor space which is so important on any charter vacation in the Caribbean as this is where guests spend the majority of the vacation. Avalon’s aft deck is vast and offers plenty of lounge area as well as built in sun-pads and outdoor dining so guests can enjoy the views while feasting on the fabulous creations served up from the gourmet galley. The aft deck is protected from the weather by a hard top bimini so guests can escape a brief tropical shower without having to move indoors or enjoy an afternoon nap in the shade of the bimini. For easy access to the water, each hull has wide steps leading from the aft deck right down to the ocean where there is a small platform and ladders on each hull. Above the cockpit there is an expansive fly bridge area with a bimini, plenty of seating and even more sun-pads – this amazing fly bridge area is large and a great place to spend time while underway. It’s certainly one of the coolest features on this yacht and also very unique for this size of yacht. There is a further lounging area on the foredeck where guests can relax on the huge trampolines.

Charter yacht Avalon has a good selection of toys on board including a hard bottom dingy with 75HP, Water-skis, wake board, a kayak, snorkeling equipment and fishing gear. There is an extensive DVD collection as well as Nintendo Wii and lots of board games. Catamaran Avalon has a crew of two very experienced young professionals. They enjoy families and love children but are just as comfortable pampering honeymooners or groups of friends wanting to experience the ultimate vacation in the Caribbean. They know the cruising area well and have many years experience on charter yachts in the Caribbean.
