MALAIKA

Sailing yacht MALAIKA is a 77′ sloop cutter built by SOLAS, South Africa in 1988 and refitted in 2010. Yacht MALAIKA is available for yacht charters in the Caribbean and can accommodate 6-7 guests in 3 cabins. S/Y MALAIKA is a fast cruising boat for all seasons. She boasts a classic and romantic style which proves to be a great success with her charter guests. The name MALAIKA means “angel” in Swahili.

The MALAIKA sailing yacht was built with elegance, comfort, and seaworthiness in mind. Malaika’s beautiful interior was built by master cabinet makers using African woods: teak, ash, cherry and maple. The yacht was refitted in 2010, where the owner spared no expense.

The cockpit area has a dining table covered by a hard Bimini top, perfect for enjoying breakfast lunch or dinner. Forward of the cockpit is the wheelhouse and navigation area. A few steps lead down to the main salon with a u-shaped couch and table for interior dining to starboard and further seating to port. The salon benefits form large windows making it feel spacious.

The ocean class sailing yacht MALAIKA is able to accommodate up to 6-7 guests in 3 cabins with full air conditioning. Her Master Cabin is very spacious and private; with King size berth, a settee, and a library writing desk and bar. The Master bathroom has a full size conventional bath tub, a hand crafted wooden wash basin and electric w.c. There is also a double cabin to port and a twin bunk cabin with a lower double bed and a single upper berth to starboard. All cabins have full air conditioning, and luxury adjustable showers with curtain enclosures.

The MALAIKA sailing yacht has great deck spaces including an area forward of the wheelhouse covered in sunpads.
