Sailing catamaran Kupe, launched in 2006 has been designed by Ron Given with overall structural strength and rigidity that will stand it in good stead in all weather conditions. It has minimal twist and flexing which allows for a comfortable ride, and safe passage. Decorated by Janine Aston of Artful Interiors, KUPE’s interior combines space, functionality and style in a seamless interaction that is easy and comfortable to live in.

KUPE is a fully crewed and catered vessel offering generous accommodation, stable cruising and the latest technology. For your culinary pleasure they offer beautiful New Zealand cuisine and wine. The chef will cater for all desires in the culinary spectrum – from special requirements to the famous kiwi beach BBQ.

If business is your focus, Kupe’s saloon is a great meeting venue, with a 10 seater table and 42″ screen to display your Powerpoint or other presentations. Of if relaxing is your sole focus, make use of the huge DVD library or Sky TV. Watch the rugby, a movie or just chill out with the Bose Lifestyle Digital Surround Sound, IPOD and 42′ Plasma Screen. Guest Cabins each have 14′ Majestic Screens to display SKY TV, PlayStations or DVDs.

Kupe’s external layout offers a large fishing platform at the stern between hulls with unencumbered access to side and foredecks for the fishermen. The elevated lounge areas in the large cockpit make a great place for viewing the prize catch of the day. El fresco dinning is also possible on the aft deck. Forward of the yacht you can take a ride on the bow and spot dolphins or relax on the catamarans trampolines.

A sistership, TE OKUPU was launched in January 2010 and is now the flagship of the fleet. She will cruise between New Zealand and the South Pacific including New Caledonia and Vanuatu.

The rate above is fully inclusive of GST, Gourmet food, 5 star wines and other alcohol, al activities (diving, fishing, snorkeling, sailing, beaches) and local airport transfers. The rate excludes satellite phone usage, flights and some special requests or requirements.
