Spain has lifted restrictions and re-opened the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands charter grounds to overseas visitors.

Spain is opening for luxury yacht charters

To maintain physical distancing and keep locals and visitors alike safe, certain conditions need to be met; namely:

  1. Only 75% of the total maximum capacity is allowed on board. 100% capacity is allowed if all live together, e.g. a family unit.
  2. The number of people on board cannot exceed 10 under any circumstances.
  3. If the vessel is foreign-flagged, only vessels with professional crew on board will be allowed into Spanish waters.

The Balearic Islands is the most popular region for luxury yacht charters due to the sensational nightlife to be found in Ibiza Town, the striking natural bays, exceptional dive sites particularly in regards to caves, and a rich culture both historical and contemporary. Sandy beaches are abundant, and destinations such as the Cabrera National Park have trails, ruins, eye-catching flora and fauna both on land and in the water.
