Perini Navi is thrilled to announce that the Picchiotti-branded 73-metre mega yacht GRACE E was awarded as the Motor Yacht of the Year 2015 at the 10th World Superyacht Awards. In addition, superyacht GRACE E has won in the ‘Displacement Motor Yacht of 1,300GT to 2,999GT of Below 75m’ category. The Awards ceremony took place on Saturday, May 9 in Amsterdam.

The judges recognized motor yacht GRACE E’s unique combination of distinctive lines, beautiful Remi Tessier-designed interiors, as well as perfect execution of detail and superb quality. The vessel has already won 4 prominent Showboats Design Awards and the Baccarat Trophy handed over by the Monaco Yacht Show on the occasion of her premiere in September 2014.

Following a great success of the 50m motor yacht Exuma and the 55m superyacht Galileo G, GRACE E boasts the same hull as well as superstructure design elements which belong to the Picchiotti Vitruvius series. Her Philippe Briand hull design ensures efficient and long range navigation with her amazing propulsion characteristics, featuring an advanced new generation diesel / electric system with two Azipod fixed pitch propulsion units by ABB. The operational data collected on her initial voyages, comprising the transatlantic crossing, prove outstanding achievements in fuel and power consumption, efficiency and remarkable noise, as well as vibration reduction.
