Representing the first stage of the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge 2014, the 27th edition of the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta will run from April 17 to 22, hosting around 50 yachts.
Originally designed by John Alden in 1927, the 37m sailing yacht Wolfhound is currently in build at Graafship in the Netherlands. The hull of this lovely schooner is scheduled for completion before the second quarter of next year.
The recently concluded Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2013 was a great success. The event hosted 4,000 sailors and 300 Classic as well as Modern yachts, providing them with ideal sailing conditions.
This summer saw the re-launch of the majestic 100-foot Alden superyacht Summerwind, originally built by the C.A. Morse yard in Maine (now Lyman-Morse) in 1929. She boasts the new carbon spars by GMT Composites.
Due to be completed in the middle of next year, the hull of the magnificent superyacht Wolfhound is currently under construction at the Dutch shipyard, Graafship. This schooner represents a John G Alden’s design 327, which Alden penned for himself in 1927, but has never been constructed.
The 1996 luxury sailing yacht Keewaydin has recently arrived at Dennis Connor’s North Cove in NYC. This 110ft Palmer Johnson spectacular vessel provides 3 comfortable staterooms.
