A total number of 90 yachts have registered for the Superyacht Cup Palma 2015 so far. These include such beautiful vessels as the 47m Royal Huisman charter yacht Hyperion.
Royal Huisman has become a new member of the International Council of Marine Industry Association (ICOMIA) Superyacht Refit Group. Dutch superyacht yard provides refits through its Huisfit programme.
Luxury yacht Skat and Hyperion yacht arrived to Holland recently and Huisfit is proud to announce that Athena has signed up for Huisfit support in the Med the coming fall/winter season. In addition, Adèle has booked a slot for 2015-2016.
The recently concluded Superyacht Cup Palma 2014 was a great success for Royal Huisman yachts. Frers-designed sailing yacht Unfurled became first overall.
The spectacular 2002 superyacht Borkumriff IV has confirmed her participation in this year’s Superyacht Cup in Palma. This beautiful 51-metre sloop was built by Royal Huisman and designed by Dykstra Naval Architects. She will be the largest yacht to compete this year.
To be held from April 23 to 26, the 2014 Antibes Yacht Show will host such beautiful vessels as the 49,5m Oceanco superyacht Anedigmi (ex Altavida) or the 47m Heesen luxury yacht Sweet Doll.
Royal Huisman’s Huisfit will carry out the conversion of the 42m superyacht Mari Cha IV into SAMURAI yacht, adding cruising amenity to the original sailing performance.
Monday, March 24, 2014, saw the arrival of the 1976 Royal Huisman sailing yacht FLYER to her home yard in Vollenhove, the Netherlands, in order to undergo a major refit. This legendary 65-foot ketch has been designed by Sparkman & Stephens.
Royal Huisman’s Huisfit in the Netherlands has completed several important refits in the first half of 2013, including the 70m Lurssen mega yacht Skat, the 93m Lurssen 3-masted schooner Eos, Heartbeat yacht, as well as Nixe II yacht.
It has been a huge success for the Royal Huisman’s Huisfit-refitted luxury yacht HEARTBEAT at this year’s Superyacht Cup Palma, taking both class honours as well as First Overall.
The splendid 40-metre Lurssen superyacht Be Mine (ex Leonora) has recently undergone an extensive refit at the Royal Huisman’s refit facility, Huisfit. This also comprised the painting of underwater body, steel hull as well as superstructure.
Established in 2011, the Royal Huisman’s refit centre, Huisfit, has already worked on over 300m of refit projects, including such beautiful vessels as the 70m Lurssen motor yacht Skat. The company will be attending the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) that will start next week.
