The beautiful Alcaidesa Marina has received the 5 Gold Anchors as well as the Blue Flag award from The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA). It is the first Spanish superyacht marina given the honour to receive these highly respected awards.
In order to stimulate growth in the superyacht sector as well as motivate longer-term berthing in superyacht marinas such as Gibraltar’s Ocean Village, the Gibraltar government has recently announced the abolition of import duty for yachts over 18 meters in length. The resident vessel owners can now keep their yachts in the marinas without any time limit.
