With one month left until the first start guns fire to open an exciting 2011 Audi MedCup Circuit, the Circuit organizers and the race teams are finalizing preparations to unfold the seventh successive year of Circuit racing, one which will see regattas returning successively to Cascais, Marseille, Cagliari, Cartagena and with the season’s finale in Barcelona.

North Wind Yachts in Barcelona, Spain has put its shipyard, repair & refit facilities up for sale following plans to relocate. The facilities at North Wind’s site in Barcelona include a fully equipped production hall measuring 60m in length x 30m wide x 23m high and a five-storey office with exceptional Mediterranean views. An external esplanade measuring close to 12,000m2 is also available for repair and refit works.
Vilanova Grand Marina – Barcelona, the first marina in the Mediterranean specially conceived for superyachts, is offering one-week free dockage this Spring to yachts visiting the marina. This new commercial campaign is particularly targeting those superyachts coming back from the Caribbean in search of a facility that will allow them to prepare for the summer charter season.
Since 2009, Marina Barcelona 92 (MB´92) has invited superyacht refit clients to join its carbon offset programme, compensating for the carbon emissions produced from their use of shore power. MB’92’s optional programme continues to attract participation from leading yachts, and is delivered in partnership with Yacht Carbon Offset.

The Magellano which has become a benchmark for sustainable boating throughout the world is constructed in line with eco-standards and materials and capable of providing a 13% saving in fuel costs thanks to a hybrid engine and the particular shape of its hull.
The Barcelona International Boat Show held from the 6th to the 14th of November at the Gran Via exhibition centre, the Espanya dock and Port Vell in Barcelona will feature 354 national and foreign exhibitors from 31 countries.
