Marina Tel Aviv, the shoreline centerpiece of Israel’s largest city and cultural capital, recently underwent a major renovation. Partnering with SF Marina, the marina replaced its old, dilapidated piers with a state-of-the-art floating concrete breakwater and docks. At high water in the afternoon of Sunday 3 June 2012, up to a thousand boats muster on the River Thames in preparation for Her Majesty The Queen to lead the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant. It will be one of the largest flotillas ever assembled on the river. Rowed boats and working boats and pleasure vessels of all shapes and sizes will be beautifully dressed with streamers and Union Jacks, their crews and passengers turned out in their finest rigs.
Trinidad Village Docks, Inc. (TVDI) hired world renowned marina builder, Bellingham Marine, to move forward with a major renovation of their docks in 2008. Plans called for a complete overhaul including new docks and anchoring, upgraded utilities and a new layout.
The MYBA Charter Boat Show which runs from 2 to 6 May 2011 has secured extra dockage at Marina Fiera in Genoa where the October sales show is held. The extra dockage was needed due to an increasing number of yacht registrations for the Charter Show which is one of the most important international exhibitions dedicated to charter professionals and superyachts.
