Jan en Evelyn van de Witte has kindly shared with us the photos below, taken by his father Mr W van de Witte, showing the outstanding 74m mega yacht ILONA at the ICON shipyard in Harlingen, the Netherlands, where she arrived on Saturday, February 13, 2016. The breath-taking ILONA was originally built by AMELS to a design by Redman Whiteley Dixon in 2004.

Boasting flowing, balanced and naturally inspired lines, ILONA is a truly custom vessel, combining excellent sea going capabilities with striking design features. Built to comply to MCA and LR standards, she can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests across 6 deluxe cabins, and is taken care of by 28 crewmembers.

In addition to numerous special amenities, the steel and aluminium luxury yacht ILONA also boasts a cinema, a massage room and a gymnasium. Moreover, she is fitted with a large helipad and helicopter hangar. There is a fully retractable system of opening doors on the aft deck, which has been installed to allow a helicopter to land and be stowed in a fire-proof hangar below deck.
