This full displacement superyacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure was designed by Espen Oeino and was built to Lloyd’s Registry Standards.

The latest photo of Project Thunder illustrates her breathtaking profile. One of the outstanding features includes an enormous three-deck window. This five-deck luxury mega yacht boats five decks and beautiful black finish.

Lurssen commented: “The traditionally styled interior will be installed in the coming months and the yacht will undergo extensive sea trials thereafter as is the norm.”

Project Thunder, one of the most important and exciting superyacht projects of 2017, is expected to be delivered in the last quarter of 2018. She will be cruising mostly in the waters of Asia.

It has been a very busy start of 2017 for Lurssen, as there are four other megayacht projects currently under construction and development. Recently launched Project Jupiter is currently undergoing her sea trials and is scheduled for delivery later this year.
