Viareggio hosts first Yachting After sales & Refit Exhibition (YARE)

From March 31st to April 2nd Coppino Street and the inner basins of Viareggio will host YARE – Yachting After sales & Refit Exhibition, the first international boat show committed to all the services following the purchase of a yacht.

America’s Cup: AC45 Officially Commissioned in New Zealand

With its technical shakedown now complete, it is handover day for the new AC45 wing-sailed catamaran, marking the beginning of the next era of the America’s Cup. America’s Cup Race Management (ACRM) will now manage the logistics, care and maintenance of the prototype as competitors test the boat over the coming weeks. The AC45 is the forerunner to the larger AC72, which will be used in the 34thAmerica’s Cup.

Asia Superyacht Rendezvous 10-Year Anniversary Celebration

Both power and sail Superyachts from throughout the globe arrived in Phuket, Thailand, first anchoring at Nai Harn Bay. The next day’s first “sailing event” was to Pansea Bay and The Surin Phuket in continuing the prestigious 10-year anniversary celebration held December 16-18, 2010.

The American Superyacht Forum 16-18th May 2011

International Marinas Conference and Trade Show Australia

The Marinas 2011 International Conference and Exhibition is being held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre 20-22 June 2011. Held every two years for the last six years the event has gone from strength to strength with the last event attracting over 400 participants. 20% of participants come from destinations outside Australia.

World Superyacht Awards 2011 Finalists

100 superyacht nominations have been whittled down to an outstanding list of 62 World Superyacht Awards 2011 Finalists who are in contention to receive a coveted Neptune Trophy. An independent jury comprised of 14 superyacht owners will meet in March at Porto Montenegro, located at Tivat in the picturesque Bay of Kotor, to decide which yachts will receive a prized Neptune Award in 2011.
