Karpaz Gate Marina (KGM), the new luxury marina in northern Cyprus, is approximately 90% complete and will be launched, on schedule, at the beginning of June. Ahead of its official launch, the marina management team have announced that it will be welcoming yachts which are participating in the Eastern Mediterranean Yacht Rally (EMYR) – an annual rally which involves approximately 60 sailing yachts travelling around the highlights of the Eastern Mediterranean.
With San Francisco receiving extra attention from sailing fans courtesy of the America’s Cup, it comes as no surprise that the Bay will be bustling with additional activity this fall when the 2011 Rolex Big Boat Series gets underway. Scheduled for September 8-11 and hosted by St. Francis Yacht Club, the event is in its 47th year and shows no signs of slowing down.

Both yachts were designed by the renowned Judel Vrolik design office.
