Karpaz Gate Marina (KGM), the new luxury marina in northern Cyprus, is approximately 90% complete and will be launched, on schedule, at the beginning of June. The new Oyster 625 sailing yacht Blue Jeannie was launched in fine style during a party at Oyster’s annual Private View event, held at St Katharine Docks in London. On a beautiful spring evening, owner John Bowley, for whom the new Oyster 625 yacht Blue Jeannie, is his first Oyster, carried out the formalities with the traditional smashing of a bottle of champagne on her bow, assisted by his parents and family. Also present was Oyster 625 designer Rob Humphreys and his wife, Jo, who had styled the interior furnishings.
After successfully launching of two mega catamarans over 100 feet each in 2010, the Sunreef Shipyard are to build an 82ft double decker sailing catamaran scheduled for launch in June 2012. The Sunreef 82 Double Deck Catamaran Superyacht will feature the latest design, with sleek hulls and a streamlined deckhouse topped with a giant 35m2 flybridge inspired by large superyachts. The European client, impressed by the elegance and unrivalled spaciousness of the 102ft catamaran IPHARRA, selected Sunreef’s original Double Deck design.
