The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the final event in the Formula One calendar and runs from the 24th-26th November. Racing takes place at the Yas Marina track from late afternoon into the early evening as spectators watch on from their stalls – or their superyachts: Yas Marina is designed with track-side berths for some of the world’s largest superyachts, allowing guests a literal bird’s eye view of the action while relaxing in the Jacuzzi on the sundeck aft.

The sports
While in Abu Dhabi there is plenty of opportunities to participate in sports as well as spectate: the Yas Links golf course is a short distance from the marina, and the surrounding beaches are ideal for non-motorised water sports and land-based activities while Mirfa Beach is where you can let loose with the tenders and jet skis.

The weather
While the Mediterranean is cooling off, the Arabian Gulf remains warm and the temperature comfortable in the mid-to-high 20s. The sea temperature hovers around the same mark, if slightly warmer, and coupled with cloudless skies the area is attractive on its own or as an addition to any luxury yacht charter in the Indian Ocean.
