SYCARA V

Superyacht ‘SYCARA V’ is a 68.16m (223′ 7″) motor yacht as launched in 2010 by the German shipbuilding yard Nobiskrug. Her naval architecture and engineering were also drawn by Nobiskrug, and the interior and exterior design were created by Craig Beale with interior decoration by Pure Detail, in conjunction with the vessel’s owners. SYCARA V is a large full displacement steel private yacht (with aluminum superstructure) which can accommodate 12 guests in 7 cabins.

The key features onboard M/Y SYCARA V, which are worthy of immediate mention, are her huge main saloon, oversized windows for light and sea views, open spacious entertaining areas, stowed toys and tenders for uncluttered outside areas, sundeck gym, spa pool and massage room, aft beach club, a superb forward bridge deck seating area and flexible accommodation layout.

SYCARA V has been designed for spacious and barrier-free living and her main deck is a case in point with its huge 25 meters long open plan main deck dining salon (seating for 12) and library and lounge to forward. The lunge has a home theatre with surround sound and a large L-shaped sofa and game table. The main saloon has two generous sofas. There is a Semi-circular wet bar with Murano glass top / five stools aft of the main salon. Glass topped credenza separates the main salon from wet bar/dining salon aft. Glass pocket doors of the credenza close off aft area allowing fresh air from the main aft deck. The main aft deck features a large U-shaped settee, two large tables, and dining for up to 16 guests.

The middle section of the huge sundeck houses the air-conditioned gym and private massage room. To aft is a semi-circular wet bar and barbeque and forward is a Spa Pool coupled with sun pads and shade by awnings.

The master suite on yacht SYCARA V is situated upon the yacht’s bridge deck to aft of the wheelhouse. The suite includes a private office, two relaxing chairs, his and hers bathroom ensuites and a walk-in dressing room and vanity area. The owner’s suite also leads to a wonderful private aft deck with four ‘love seats’ and coffee dining table for 8. There are a further six staterooms for guest accommodation – see below for details. Forward of the wheelhouse is the fantastic outdoor patio viewing area and Portuguese bridge. Here there is a shaded elevated seating just to forward of wheelhouse with three settees & central built-in sun pads.

Powered by a pair of CAT 2,200hp allows this superyacht to reach a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.
