NYUMBA

The luxury sailing yacht NYUMBA measures 29.24m / 95.92ft and was built by the South African shipyard Southern Wind, with the launch in 2022. The yacht represents the yard’s first hybrid propulsion vessel, and a striking GT layout. She was designed by Farr Yacht Design when it comes to the hull lines, with GT deck configuration layout and design as well as interiors by Nauta Design. She can accommodate up to 6 guests in a three-cabin layout, plus a crew cabin.

EXTERIOR

Above deck, the cockpit is fitted on both sides with a C-shaped sofa that becomes a double sunbed aft. The dual helm controls are behind, and the stern has a large swim platform for relaxing beside the water. The foredeck has been left clear for crew operations, and while at anchor space can be used for additional sunbathing, exercise and observation.

INTERIOR

Below deck, the Master suite is placed forward with the two guest cabins amidships. What would be a fourth cabin in the traditional SW96 layout is instead a media room aboard sailing yacht NYUMBA. The salon has a stairway up to the cockpit, and the galley and crew quarters are aft. The stern is used to store the tender and water toys.
