The luxury catamaran yacht ABOVE & BEYOND (ex ABOVE) is a 23.87m (78′ 4″) luxury sailing yacht built by Sunreef Yachts. The yacht features modern interiors by the shipyard’s in-house team, accommodating up to 8 charter guests in 4 cabins, with ensuite bathroom facilities. There is a crew of 5 onboard.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft provides a barbeque area and stairway to the flybridge to port, while to starboard there is a broad double sunbed. A sofa lines the stern and an elevated table and additional chairs create an ideal space for alfresco dining close to the water. Both hulls have steps leading down to the sea, and a hydraulic platform also provides easy access to the tenders and water toys. 

The spacious foredeck has a double sunpad on both sides, plus a sofa and table to starboard near the entrance to the interior salon. The forward trampolines create an additional sunbathing space which guests can also use for exercise.

Up on the flybridge the helm controls are placed to starboard with a wet bar in the centre of the space and a C-shaped sofa and raised alfresco dining table behind. A Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads lines the stern and guests can unwind in the sunshine or shade with uninterrupted views and a cocktail from the bar.

INTERIOR

The sophisticated contemporary interiors use a monochrome colour scheme with silvery accents and gloss surfaces to create areas of interest.

The interior layout places the guest and crew accommodation in the hulls, leaving the central space clear for the shared guest areas. The helm controls are placed forward to starboard, leaving plenty of room to port for a forward galley with bar.

The port side of the interior is dedicated to the formal dining area, and a sumptuous sofa lines the wall with a raised table and movable chairs completing the setting. Opposite, the lounge is nearly symmetrical and also has a C-shaped sofa under the windows, plus tables and chairs for casual conversation and relaxation with hobbies.

A pair of John Deere 225 HP engines produce a cruising speed of 8 knots.
