SPIRIT OF PONANT

Built in 2024 by Lagoon in France, Spirit of Ponant is a sophisticated 23.8 metre / 78 foot sailing catamaran — a Lagoon Seventy 7 — combining elegant design from VPLP with interiors by Nauta Design. This maxi catamaran offers an immersive, intimate sailing experience for up to 12 guests in six beautifully appointed cabins, supported by a crew of four. Every detail has been conceived to offer comfort, connection with the sea and refined living aboard.

EXTERIOR
Spirit of Ponant’s exterior spaces are crafted for both sociability and serenity. The aft deck flows gracefully into the sea via a hydraulic swim platform, giving effortless access to the water. Sunpads invite lounging under the tropical or Mediterranean sun, while shaded al fresco dining areas provide retreats during warm days or glowing evenings. The sail plan and hull lines reflect Lagoon’s naval architecture in collaboration with VPLP, offering a sleek profile that balances performance with comfort.

Forward decks offer open views over the waves; there are versatile lounging areas and breeze catching spots to relax. The sail rig allows guests to feel the wind, maintain silence under sail or motor when preferred. Outdoor showers and deck amenities complete the connection to sea and sky.

INTERIOR
Stepping into her saloon, guests are welcomed by expansive glazing which bathes the interior in natural light and feels in constant dialogue with the surrounding ocean. The finishings are modern yet warm: Nauta Design’s attention to detail shows in the clean lines, natural woods, soft fabrics and nautical palette that echo light, sea and sky. The dining area is elegant and intimate, designed to enhance conversation over gourmet meals crafted aboard.

Cabins are thoughtfully appointed: all six guest cabins are double occupancy with ensuite bathrooms. The layout affords privacy without sacrificing community; common areas feel generous without ever being overbearing. The décor embodies comfort: understated luxury, in refined materials, with touches that whisper rather than shout.
