The last yacht penned by late naval architect Ed Dubois, 58m/190ft sailing yacht NGONI was built by Royal Huisman and launched in 2017. Her exteriors were also styled by Ed Dubois, while the bespoke interiors were completed by Rick Baker Ltd. Sailing yacht NGONI accommodates up to six guests over three comfortable cabins.

Exterior

To create an uncluttered appearance, the teak foredeck cleverly conceals a tender and crane beneath a flush hatch. A spa pool is also hidden below using the same method, which allows the same space to be employed for sunbathing, exercise or observation as desired. 
To the centre, the cockpit extends out from the salon to form a sheltered space for alfresco dining and electrically-powered retractable windbreakers ensure that space can be used both close to land and while out at sea.

Aft of the cockpit, are two helm stations, each with a large sofa for comfort while steering. To the stern, there is an aft-facing double-sized sunpad which enjoys uninterrupted views. An Olympic diving board can be fitted between the helm station and the sunpads for guests to use in deeper water. Broad steps head down the stern to the swim platform, where guests can use the area for lounging or for access to the tender. There is a carbon fibre passerelle with self-levelling steps and platform for guests to step on board from land or by tender, or alternatively, the hydraulic side platform and gangway can be used instead.

Interior

Sliding doors separate the cockpit from the salon, which is decorated in a masculine style using deep red and charcoal tones in a variety of materials and textures, including resin and wood. On the port side, there is an inviting curved sofa placed in the unusual position to face outwards to take in the views. Armchairs, a coffee table and a concealed television add to this close and inviting space while on the opposite wall the formal dining area and bar offer comfort and elegance for an unforgettable night of entertainment.

On the lower deck, the accommodation consists of a full-beam Master suite with private library/study and gym, plus an en-suite bathroom finished in lavish Italian marble and onyx. The double cabin and twin cabin en-suite bathrooms receive the same treatment, with the former cabin offering its occupants a Japanese bath.
