With launch in 2015, Riva 88 Florida Convertible Top motor yacht Hull #1, previously known as ‘Riva 88 Miami’, is a superb 88-foot craft, built by the well known Italian shipyard Riva, part of the Ferretti Group. The first Riva 88 Florida Convertible Top superyacht is a revolutionary yacht, which perfectly blends an open and a coupé model into one single vessel. She is the result of a close collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy & Marketing Committee, Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta of Officina Italiana Design and Advanced Yacht Technology & Design (AYT&D), in partnership with the technical partners of the Ferretti Group, Besenzoni Spa, as well as Centrostile Srl.

Riva 88 Florida superyacht Hull #1 boasts the Convertible Top patented system, which turns her into a multifunctional yacht, “convertible” because it can be transformed into an open or a coupé with one single and easy movement. The convertible top offers three different functions into one single system, due to the function that handles the aerodynamic hard top into three different positions.

Accommodation aboard the first Riva 88 Florida yacht is provided in four lovely en suite cabins. These include a full-beam master suite, located amidships towards the stern in the utmost privacy, as well as a very wide double cabin, similar to a VIP cabin in terms of volume and furnishing, with private head and separated shower. In addition, there is the second guest cabin with twin beds located starboard, with dedicated head and round shower, closed by plexi-glass doors. At the extreme bow, lit up by a doubled wall glazing, there is the VIP double cabin, with double walk-in wardrobe, private head and separated shower.

Riva 88 Florida luxury yacht Hull no. 1 is run by twin MTU 16V 2000 M94 diesel engines, reaching an impressive maximum speed of 40,5 knots and a cruising speed of 36 knots.
