RIVA 88 FOLGORE

The RIVA 88′ FOLGORE luxury yacht model from Italian shipyard Riva was launched in 2020 and features the design talents of Officina Italiana Design. The accommodation sleeps up to eight guests in four beautifully-appointed en-suite cabins, with a crew of three to provide the first-class service to everyone on board.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft comes with a spacious outdoor area shaded by the flybridge overhang that can be used for outdoor exercise such as yoga. The aft section is furnished with a U-shaped sofa around three sides of a raised table to make an ideal place for alfresco dining or hobbies in the fresh air. A stairway to port and starboard leads down to the swim platform for easy access to the tenders and water toys.

The main deck aft also has a starboard stairway up to the flybridge, and side walkways take guests along the main deck to the foredeck for more outdoor seating and a large row of sunbeds on the bow.

The flybridge has even more sunbeds along the stern, plenty of plush sofa seating aft and on both sides, and the helm controls forward.

INTERIOR

The lower deck layout places the guest accommodation forward and amidships, followed by the crew accommodation and galley. This area has separate access to ensure guest privacy, and the engine room is behind.

On the main deck the helm controls are forward to starboard with the formal dining area to seat eight opposite. The salon aft offers a comfortable light-filled space with excellent views through the windows running down both sides of the superstructure. An aft-facing L-shaped sofa lines the starboard side of the room, with a loveseat behind and coffee tables in between. The opposite side of the room has a stairway down into the crew quarters and a widescreen TV on the cabinetry for entertainment during transit.

The RIVA 88′ FOLGORE model comes with two different engine options: The standard 2 x MTU 16V 2000 M96 version or the upgraded 2 x MTU 16V 2000 M96L. The standard gives a top speed of 36 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots with a maximum range of 340 nautical miles, while the upgraded version has a top speed of 39 knots, a cruising speed of 33 knots and a range of up to 320 nautical miles.
