QUANTUM H

Built in 2008, 40m/131ft superyacht QUANTUM H (ex Namaste, Namaste 8) from Tamsen Yachts sports a coffee-coloured hull and white superstructure, both of which are constructed from a composite. Sleek and stylish, she boasts several outdoor lounges and alfresco dining areas in addition to a retractable flybridge roof and a glass panel in the floor to light the main deck lounge. Julia Tamsen and Loro Piana created her beautiful and modern interiors. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests over five en-suite cabins, with a crew of 7 to ensure that every guest on board has a restful cruise. The yacht received various upgrades between 2015 and 2020.

EXTERIOR

From the lower deck swim platform guests have access to the main deck aft, where a spread of sunpads covers the stern and an alfresco dining table between sofas and armchairs can be raised or extended as desired to suite the number of guests and the meal. A TV is placed above the doors to the main salon for outdoor entertainment, day or night.

The foredeck provides one of two large sunbathing sections and places a C-shaped sofa with drinks tables in front of the helm station followed by a massive square Jacuzzi with sunpads placed either side. When not in use, the Jacuzzi can be covered to create an even larger place for the group to sunbathe together.

The upper deck places sun loungers along the stern where guests can enjoy sweeping views, and a large bar to port with armchairs and a sofa opposite ensures that the group has plenty of places to sit and engage in conversation.

INTERIOR

The lower deck hosts the guests and crew accommodation, with the tender garage in the stern. On the main deck, the Master suite is placed forward with the bathroom placed to port and the office to starboard behind the Master bedroom. The amidships section contains the main foyer and galley, which connects through to the casual lounge or up to the formal dining area in the enclosed flybridge section.

The main deck lounge places a TV on the forward port wall with two armchairs opposite and a loveseat to enclose the area around the coffee tables. Behind there is a drinks table with four plush armchairs with a skylight above, and the aft section of the room has a grand bar and a chaise-lounger to starboard and a daybed in the bay window that serves as a second place to unwind with a drink over close conversation.

On the flybridge the interior places the helm station controls forward with the formal dining area to seat eight to port and a love seat and armchairs opposite with two broad low coffee tables. The retractable roof exposes guests inside to the sunshine or stars for a living environment more connected to the outside world.

A pair of MTU 16V2000 M93CR 2,400 HP engines produce a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 1,000 nautical miles at economical speed.
