Motor yacht RECORD YEAR measures 22.00m (72′ 2″) and was built by Galeon in 2020. She can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 cabins and has additional space for a crew of 2.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft provides a shaded environment for dining alfresco at the large table and a C-shaped sofa along the stern. Stairways lead down to the swim platform for access to the tender and the water, and a port stairway connects to the flybridge. Side walkways take guests to the foredeck alfresco lounge, there there is plenty of sofa seating, two tables for casual meals and a sunbed on the bow.

The flybridge offers a large aft alfresco lounge where a C-shaped sofa lines the sides and stern and surrounds two drinks tables at its centre, one of which can fold out to create a single alfresco dining table to serve the whole group. In the central area, there is a bar to port and a sofa and table to starboard for drinks in comfort. The central area of the hardtop opens up to let in the sunshine.

INTERIOR

The timeless interior decor contrasts dark wooden panelling and fittings with pale furnishings for an elegant home away from home.

Large windows let in plenty of natural light, and after sunset, there are plenty of light sources within to set the ambience.

The lower deck layout places the guest accommodation forward and amidships, with the engine room behind followed by the crew accommodation.

On the main deck, the helm controls are placed to starboard with a central stairway leading down into the guest accommodation area.

Immediately behind the Captain’s chair is a plush sofa with a pop-up widescreen TV concealed in the cabinetry under the window, while opposite a larger C-shaped sofa surrounds the dining table. A starboard stairway leads to the Master Suite, which has its own entrance for greater privacy. The galley and breakfast bar are behind to port and starboard respectively, close to the aft glass sliding doors for convenient service inside and out.

A pair of MAN V8-1200 engines giving 2,400 HP create a top speed of 32 knots and a fast cruising speed of 20 knots.
