EXTERIOR

The lower deck offers a sizeable area for sunbathing beside the water and connects through to the beach club where there are a lounge and steam room. Two exterior staircases sweep up to the main deck aft, where a pair of sofas and armchairs create a casual lounge around a coffee table. Walkways to port and starboard connect to the fold-down side terraces and provide an alternative entry point into the main salon.

The upper deck provides the first of two alfresco dining areas, with a grand oval table to seat 12 guests placed beneath the sundeck overhang, and two free-standing sofas, a drinks table and a coffee table in each corner of the stern.

The foredeck also places a loveseat in front of the helm station so that guests can enjoy the magnificent views. The bow is used for the storage of tenders and large water toys, which are launched and retrieved using a Davit crane.

The sundeck has an abundance of sunbathing space, placing sun loungers and two sofa-sunpads forward and a large sun pad attached to a massive Jacuzzi behind. An alfresco dining table and a wet bar is placed beneath the shade of the hardtop, and another sunbed along the stern.

INTERIOR

On the lower deck, the beach club is placed within the stern and is furnished with a casual seating area with push armchairs, and a steam room can be found to port. The guest accommodation is forward of the beach club, with the engine room amidships. The crew accommodation, mess and laundry facilities are placed forward and in the bow.

The main deck above hosts the Master suite forward, which has the benefits of a sofa beside the starboard fold-down terrace and an additional private lounge between the main foyer and the bedroom. The main salon to the aft places the elegant formal dining area forward, which is able to seat up to 12 guests. For a dining experience more connected to the location, glass sliding doors to port and starboard can be opened to create side terraces.

The salon consists of two large sofas and an armchair around a coffee table to port, and an additional cosy armchair to starboard. Close to the glass sliding doors to the aft, there is a wet bar to serve guests indoors or outside.

On the upper deck, the helm station is placed forward and contains a corner sofa to port and starboard. Behind the helm station is the Captain’s cabin, followed by the sky lounge. Designed for entertaining, space is furnished with a sofa, armchairs, a coffee table and widescreen TV as well as a grand piano in the aft starboard corner and a games table opposite.

Quotes

“Since yacht design is highly competitive, you could be forgiven for thinking that there might be some animosity between designers. But that notion is far from reality. I am blessed with being able to count on some of the world’s leading designers as close friends, among them Tim Heywood, with whom we have collaborated on various large motor yacht projects, including the award winners Pelorus, Ice and Kogo.” – “Creatively, Tim is afraid of nothing and will often conceptualise ideas that bewilder shipyards.” – Terence Disdale speaking of Tim Heywood, the designer of this yacht.

AMELS Managing Director Rob Luijendijk: “We’re innovating and growing. A big factor behind that is the rock solid support of our parent company DAMEN Shipyards. Our clients appreciate the strength and R&D know how that AMELS gains from being part of the Dutch family-owned international group.”
