GALENA

Motor yacht GALENA (ex MRS B, Mrs D, Moonen 100) measures 30.75m (100′ 11″) and was built by Mooned in 2013, with exterior design by Vripack, accommodating up to 6 guests in 3 cabins, with additional accommodation for a crew of 5. She was refitted in 2024.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft is furnished with a sofa along the stern, a table and movable chairs to create a comfortable alfresco dining area. Another sofa is placed close to the doors into the main salon, and to port there is a wet bar.

A stairway leads down to the lower deck swim platform, and side walkways lead to the foredeck, which has plenty of room for storing water toys on the bow or for outdoor exercise such as yoga once clear, and two sofa/sunbeds create a place to relax in seclusion and enjoy the views.

The sundeck stores the tender along the stern, which is launched and retrieved safely using the Davit crane. Immediately in front is a large sunbed and tempting Jacuzzi for unwinding in the sunshine, and a canvas bimini provides shade for guests resting on the port side loveseat or the armchairs. A stairway to starboard connects to the forward sundeck which is shaded by a hardtop, beneath which is a curving sofa and table to port for alfresco dining, and forward sofas with the helm controls.

INTERIOR

The lower deck hosts the guest and crew accommodation, accessed via separate stairways to maintain guest privacy.
On the main deck the raised pilothouse is forward, followed by the galley and main foyer with a stairway up to the sundeck. Behind, the formal dining area and main salon occupy the same open-plan space, with the formal dining area forward to port seating up to six guests around a grand table perfect for special celebrations.

The salon provides a plush aft-facing corner sofa, armchair and stools around a coffee table on the port side of the room, and opposite a widescreen TV will provide entertainment in the evenings and while cruising.

A pair of Caterpillar C18 Acert engines each producing 600 HP give a top speed of 14 knots, a cruising speed of 10 knots and an extensive cruising range of 5,500 nautical miles at an economical 9 knots.
