ICE

Luxury expedition yacht ICE from Soyaslan measures a compact 24m/78.8ft and offers small groups the opportunity to cruise worldwide in comfort and style. Delivery is scheduled for late 2023/early 2024, having been built in just 14 months and designed to ICE-class standards for cruising the polar regions in safety and comfort. Her exterior styling and naval architecture come from Soyaslan, while the interiors are the work of BAZ Design. The accommodation sleeps up to 10 guests in five en-suite cabins, plus an experienced crew of three for smooth sailing the world over.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft has a stern sofa, raised table and additional chairs for a group of eight to dine alfresco. Two stairways lead down to a spacious lower deck swim platform, where guests have direct access to the tender and water toys.

The upper deck aft is used for storing the tender while on the move. When clear, the space can be used for outdoor exercise such as yoga, or for lounging in the sunshine while refreshments are served from the port side wet bar. A C-shaped sofa, table and chairs are placed on the foredeck as an additional place to dine alfresco with panoramic views.

The sundeck forward is fitted with a large sunbed, while the stern has an L-shaped sofa, table and movable chairs to offer one final alfresco dining and lounging option for the whole group.

INTERIOR

The interior styling from BAZ Design contrast light oak with darker Alpi and warm neutral tones against cool grey-blue accents for a refined yet laid-back interior.

The lower deck layout places the guest accommodation forward and amidships, the engine room behind, and the crew accommodation and facilities in the stern.

The Master suite is forward on the main deck with the galley amidships to port and the main foyer with day head to starboard. The formal dining area and salon are combined into one large social area aft, separated by a partition for a more intimate atmosphere. Up to eight guests can be seated around the dining table, while the salon is a calm and relaxing space for social gatherings, placing two sofas and seats around a large coffee table.

The upper deck hosts the wheelhouse and has an L-shaped sofa, chair and coffee table along the starboard wall behind the helm controls, and the stairway and widescreen TV opposite

The twin Cummins Diesel engines of 410 HP give a top speed of 12 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10.5 knots.
