YAS

The dramatically beautiful 141-metre motor yacht YAS (ex Swift 141) represents one of the world’s largest vessels constructed in composite. Launched in 2011, mega yacht YAS was built by the Abu Dhabi´s ADM Shipyards, members of Privinvest. She takes inspiration from a former Dutch-built navy frigate´s hull which was launched in 1977. Both interior and exterior of the spectacular YAS superyacht have been superbly designed by French studio Pierrejean Design. Her strikingly graceful exterior features fluid curves and volumes, as well as an excellent structural covering of glass.

ADM Swift 141 megayacht YAS boasts modern interiors, comfortably sleeping a maximum of 60 guests, looked after by a professional crew of 56. She features an automatic stern platform, amazing outdoor pool and spa, a helipad, a highly-sophisticated audio-visual entertainment system, a garage for water toys, as well as door made of carbon-fibre functioning as a boarding or swim platform.

The robust 462´ luxury yacht YAS is built to Det Norske Veritas, new UAE Large Yacht Code specifications and MCA standards. She is fitted with various latest technologies, such as advanced radars and cameras, SatCom, long-range underwater Sonar, and FLIR. Dual bow and single stern thrusters permit Dynamic Positioning for vessel´s crew.

ADM YAS yacht has a steel hull and a GRP superstructure. She reaches a maximum speed of 26 knots thanks to her modern twin MTU diesel engines, with a cruising speed of 20 knots. Her relatively narrow beam of 15m (49´21´´) lowers the yacht´s resistance through the water and adds grace to her shape. Her draught is of 4.30m (14´11´´).
