Oceanic Yachts 140 Hull #1

With launch in 2020, Oceanic Yachts 140′ motor yacht Hull #1 is a striking and robust 43-metre fast explorer, built by the prominent Italian shipyard, Canados. With naval architecture by Arrabito NA and interior design by Michaela Reverberri, Oceanic Yachts 140′ superyacht Hull no. 1 boasts extended outdoor and indoor living volumes, ability to carry large toys and tenders, high performance as well as ability to navigate at economic speed with low fuel consumption, resulting in reduced overall operating costs.

The entire upper deck of Oceanic Yachts 140′ superyacht Hull no. 1 is preserved solely to accommodate the Owner’s private apartment. This lovely suite includes a 25 sq. meter en-suite with steam bath, a secluded terrace with Spa Pool facing forward, plus a private aft outdoor bridge with private dining area and lounges. The fly bridge is equipped with bar, sun-pads and full bathroom.

Canados Oceanic Yachts 140′ yacht Hull #1 features a superstructure made of Aramat, as well as a state-of-the-art material employed in aeronautics. The vessel is run by triple MTU 16V2000 M94 engines, each producing 2,600hp. Two additional 120 kW Auxilia electric motors permit her to navigate in dieselelectric configuration at 8,5-knots with less than 50 litres per hour of fuel consumption. This unique Explorer can be also run on conventional diesel power up to 28 knots.

Oceanic Yachts 140′ explorer yacht Hull #1 is unique thanks to the combination of diesel-electric engine with the “Displanning” high-performance hull concept, developed by Arrabito Naval Design. The twin-stepped hull reduces friction and increases low speed performance and stability, thanks to a specifically designed bulb. The result is a 43-metre yacht capable of 4,900 nautical miles range at 8,5-knots, but also keen on cruising between 22 and 24 knots, with a maximum speed close to 28 knots.

Built in composite, the 43-metre Oceanic Yachts 140′ motor yacht Hull #1 has a beam of 8,22m (26’97”).
