LONIAN

Luxury yacht LONIAN was constructed by Feadship and launched in 2018. Her exterior styling was completed by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design, who also worked on the interiors in conjunction with interiors from Richard Hallberg Interior Design. The dark blue colour of the hull was a challenging choice because it can be unforgiving of any surface blemishes, particularly around such obstacles as the hatches. Stainless steel accents, strong horizontal lines and a raked bow add to the classic appearance of M/Y LONIAN, while the interiors are light and contemporary in comparison. The accommodation provides for up to 12 guests across seven en-suite cabins, while a crew of 31 will be on hand to keep everything running smoothly. She was refitted in 2024.

EXTERIOR

The lower deck swim platform features a transom hatch that folds down to become flush with the swim platform. This provides open access into the beach club, which is naturally illuminated through the translucent swimming pool on the main deck aft. Both the side hatches and the swim platform are raised above the water enough to prevent flooding of the area from sudden waves.

Two staircases provide access between the two decks, and the swimming pool is raised by 50cm and the stern side edge contains a pop-up cinema screen that can be viewed from the cabanas to port and starboard, while beneath the overhang there is an elegant alfresco dining area to seat all guests.

The upper deck is also the Owner’s deck and comes furnished with an alfresco dining room beneath the bridge deck overhang and two plush corner sofas line the stern along with tables perfect for conversation over drinks.

Up, on the bridge deck aft, there is an alfresco gymnasium where guests have a wide choice of weights and a shaded space for exercise such as yoga while enjoying the fresh air and panoramic views.

The sundeck aft above is used as a helipad.

INTERIOR

The interiors have yet to be revealed by the shipyard, however, they use contemporary styling and a natural palette for tranquil living spaces that make the most of the natural light pouring in through the massive windows surrounding the hull.
