LADY MOURA

Luxury motor yacht LADY MOURA is a striking vessel built by the renowned Blohm+Voss shipyard and launched in 1990. At 105 metres, superyacht LADY MOURA belongs to the fleet of the largest yachts in the world. Her naval architecture is by Blohm & Voss, with interior and exterior design by Luigi Sturchio. She is said to be one of the most opulent and expensive yachts around.

At the time of her launch, LADY MOURA was the ninth largest yacht in the world, not only thanks to her length but also to her volume. Her superstructure and hull are made of steel and she is powered by two Deutz diesel engines of 6,868 hp each. Her propellers speed her up to a maximum speed of 22 knots. Her on board equipment, together with her tenders are stored behind hydraulically operated doors. The Mangusta main tender measures 92 feet and bears the name Little Saf and she also has a 100-foot tender by DeBirs, called Little Sarah. An interesting fact about LADY MOURA yacht is that her name and the escutcheon are both carved in 24 carat gold.

Mega yacht LADY MOURA boasts seven decks. Her top deck features a swimming pool with a sliding roof. It is believed that the deck below is entirely dedicated to the owner’s quarters. Aft of the centrally positioned staircase there is a huge and ultra-luxurious owner’s suite with a private aft balcony. Forward to the main staircase are believed to be additional apartments for the owner’s family.

LADY MOURA also has a permanent helicopter on board; a Sikorsky S-76B for the owner’s convenience. Other special features include her large beach club. It spreads from port to starboard with large hydraulic platforms that fold down from the hull.
