DRAGON

The 79.90m/262’13”ft displacement superyacht DRAGON is part of the Columbus Classic series from Italian shipyard Columbus Yachts and was launched in 2019. She is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with naval architecture and exterior styling by Hydrotec and the interiors come from Francesco Guida. The accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests over eight en-suite cabins, and the crew of 19 will provide first class service to all guests and visitors on board.

EXTERIOR

The exterior styling has been described by the shipyard as reminiscent of the 1950s and 60s ocean liners with ‘almost Renaissance inspiration’. Her onboard facilities are designed for modern entertaining and include an extensive foredeck and a Portuguese deck lined with two curving sofas.

The focal point of alfresco living on board will be the sundeck, where there is a spectacular 7m/22.9ft counter-current swimming pool. A waterfall feeds the pool and creates a privacy screen for the adjacent hydromassage area, which is surrounded on three sides by the mast.

INTERIOR

The 2,150 GT interiors from Francesco Guida use several high-quality materials and finishes for an atmosphere of understated elegance. Amenities will include a sizeable beach club with fold-down terraces for a greater connection to the sea, side-loading tender garages and a glass lift (elevator) to connect all five decks for quick access. An entire deck is dedicated to the Owner, who also has a spacious Master suite.

A pair of MTU 16V 4000 M63L diesel engines each producing 3,000 HP allows for a top speed of 12.5 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 6,000 nautical miles.
