YERSIN

Built in 2005 by the Piriou shipyard, 76.6m/251.4ft expedition yacht YERSIN features the naval architecture of the shipyard with a strong exterior appearance designed by Pierre Jacque Hubis and interiors by the Owner. Among her amenities is a helipad, a spa room with a Jacuzzi, massage facilities, a hammam and a hair salon as well as a gym, plus a library, cinema, media centre, observatory, research centre and hospital. Her eco-friendly credentials give her CLEANSHIP status, and her Ice-class hull allows her to travel to the farthest reaches of the Earth. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 18 guests over eight en-suite cabins, with a crew of 24 to take care of all the details throughout the journey.

EXTERIOR

The main deck is an extensive outdoor space that provides plenty of storage for water toys, land-based vehicles and personal submersibles. When clear, the area can be used for outdoor social gatherings.

The upper deck and bridge deck each have an outdoor space to the aft that can be used for sunbathing, alfresco dining or lounging.

The sundeck comes furnished with a massive raised forward Jacuzzi surrounded on both sides by large sunbeds that join with curving sofas and circular drinks tables. To port and starboard there is more seating in the C-shaped sofas with raised tables, all served by a central wet bar beneath the hardtop and canvas sides.

INTERIOR

The lower deck hosts the spa massage facilities where the indoor Jacuzzi is placed centrally, surrounded by comfortable seating and a mosaic-tiled hammam. Off the spa room is the sizeable gym and the hair salon.

The main deck forward is dedicated to the guest accommodation, with the area amidships offering a library and media room off the main salon to starboard and the formal dining area to port, behind which is a stunning bar that has seating for five.

The upper deck hosts the Master suite accommodation forward with the VIP stateroom behind which on the port side is the second elegant formal dining area, forward of which is a bar and aft an extensive lounge perfect for hosting indoor celebrations. After a meal, guests can rest and watch a film together in the on board cinema to starboard.

Quadruple Caterpillar C32 diesel-electric engines producing 1,500 kW create a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, at which E/Y YERSIN has an exhaustive cruising range of 15,000 nautical miles.
